Calvin is the Manager for BCNA's Microenterprise Development Program for Refugees. He has over 7 years of experience in retail banking (both consumer and business) and small business lending. Throughout his career, he has helped consumers of all residency statuses establish credit and obtain loans. He also taught business financing and credit workshops. Although he started his career in the for-profit sector, he developed a passion for the nonprofit mission of assisting people in underserved communities.

Calvin has a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from The State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany and a Master's Degree in Sport Management from Brooklyn College. He was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY to parents who immigrated to the United States from the Caribbean island of Grenada. His goal is to help develop the community through teaching financial literacy and sustainability.
