Maria began her career at BCNA in 2005. Working primarily with women and Hispanic entrepreneurs to access credit from the Microloan Fund, she collaborates closely with clients to create detailed business plans, develop marketing materials and choose technology to suit their needs. She also oversees technology and eCommerce training. When BCNA was selected by the eBay Foundation to take part in a national pilot technology program, she led an initiative to develop and administer the program.

Maria holds a Bachelorís degree in Financial Economics from Binghamton University. As an immigrant, her passion is educating immigrant entrepreneurs on the benefits of using technology to manage and grow their businesses.
